from beginning to the end
Our class is a country has been out for quite a time. Today, I would love to share a bit of behind scene with everybody.
Manuscript
This is what I got when first connected with the editor. As an illustrator, I have been worked with variety of manuscript. sometimes I got a whole text without the page split, sometimes I got the text with a clear page . This one is the latter case. Personal, I enjoy the page split a lot. It is a good way to deeply understand the story arch and design the illustrations accordingly
Additional from the manuscript, we usually get a art notes as well. This is where art director put his or her own idea, how the director envision the final book illustration is like.
Then, I will move on to the next step. To prepare the necessary picture reference related to the story. I will also collecting a illustration moodboard, to find the right look and style for individual book

Art director has gave me two option for the cover design. here is what I came out.
well, at the first few draft, I have tried some strong vivid color. In the end , art director has choose to have a white background
